Karuk Tribe Seeks Proposal for the Preparation of Traditionally Cooked Salmon for our 27th Annual Karuk Tribal Reunion

The Karuk Tribe seeksproposals for the preparation of traditionally cookedsalmon for the 27^th Annual Karuk Tribal Reunion to be held onSaturday, September 19^th, 2026 located at the Karuk AdministrationComplex, 64236 Second Avenue, Happy Camp, CA.

The respondent shall demonstrate the traditional process of cooking salmon. Thedemonstration shall include preparing and cooking fish traditionally over afire. The Tribe will have a site designated for cooking fish near the Tribe’s museum which is located across theparking lot from the kitchen where the salmon will be served.
