Council meetings will be broadcast live through a WebEx Webinar concurrent with the scheduled meeting time.

Participants may alternatively join the meeting via telephone to listen to the meetings without the need for an internet connection.

Presenting to the Council
In order to present to the Tribal Council, an agenda request form is required. If agenda request forms are not completed and turned in one week prior to the meeting, the request may be moved to the next available public meeting. Currently all items must be presented to the council in-person at the any of the three Karuk Tribe council chambers in Yreka, Happy Camp, or Orleans.

Council Meetings
Council Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month and begin at 10am and the location rotates.* Happy Camp is at the Headway Building, Orleans at the Panamnik Community Center/ Council Chambers, and Yreka at the Council Chambers.
This is the meeting where all of the non-Health Directors report which includes Natural Resources, Land, Transportation, Education, Tribal Employment Rights (TERO), Grant Writers, Finance, Contract Compliance, Housing (KTHA), People’s Center, Tribal Court, Community Development (KCDC), Maintenance/Construction, Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF) and Human Resources.
Health Board Meetings
Health Board Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month and begin at 10am and the location is primarily held in Happy Camp. Happy Camp is at the Headway Building, Orleans at the Panamnik Community Center/ Council Chambers, and Yreka at the Council Chambers.
This is the meeting where the Health Directors report which includes Medical, Dental, Human Services (AKA: Behavioral Health), Quality Management, and Resource Patient Management (RPMS). These meetings usually adjourn between 3-5pm. All Health Board Meetings are held in Happy Camp except the months of July and August. July 2024 will be held in Orleans and August 2024 will be held in Yreka.*
