The Karuk Tribe’s Information Technology (I.T.) Division provides the digital backbone that supports Tribal programs, services, and community outreach. From network security and software management to communications and data integrity, our team ensures that Tribal operations run efficiently, securely, and with future growth in mind.

Services Provided
Technical Support
Our I.T. team provides troubleshooting and repair assistance for Tribal staff experiencing computer, software, or connectivity issues. Support can be requested through the IT Work Order form or by calling the Help Desk.
Systems & Network Management
We oversee Tribal computer systems, secure networks, and user accounts, ensuring that all departments have reliable access to essential tools and information.
Access & Equipment Requests
The I.T. Division manages requests for new computer accounts, email, and equipment. Staff must submit a Computer Access Request Form (CARF), approved by their supervisor, before access can be granted.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting the Tribe’s sensitive data, implementing firewalls, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance with best practices for digital security.

Áan Chúuphan Internet
Áan Chúuphan (Talking Line) will provide unlimited high speed broadband to homes and businesses in the Orleans community using wireless (wifi) technology. Unlike satellite service, Áan Chúuphan Internet access has no data cap, meaning that subscribers can utilize the service non-stop without metered access and with no overage fees.

f you are experiencing a computer-related issue or need equipment, please submit a request through the IT Ticketing System. You may also call the IT Help Desk directly at (530) 493-1675 to report problems.
To request access to computers, email, or services such as RPMS, you must complete the Computer Access Request Form (CARF). A supervisor’s signature is required before submitting the form for processing.
The Computer Access Request Form (CARF) is available in both MS Word and fillable PDF formats. These forms can be downloaded from the Tribe’s website or requested directly from the IT Help Desk.
