How do I get a Tribal ID card?

For those of you who live too far away to come to Happy Camp to obtain your ID card, please complete the following information and return this form with an appropriate picture. If you plan on coming into the office please call ahead to make sure someone will be in the office. Please return this form with a new, color, head and shoulders photo taken from 2-3 feet away with a light blue or gray background. (You may e-mail your photo, if you prefer. How do I connect with the Tribe?

Try calling the Karuk Tribe Administration Offices at (530) 493-1600 or by Fax (530) 493-5322. You can also fill out the contact form located at the top of the page to subscribe to more updates and connect with your preferred department.

I have something I want to present to council, what do I do?

In order to present to the Tribal Council, an agenda request form is required to be completed fully, including an email address and phone number. If agenda request forms are not completed and turned in one week prior to the meeting, the request may be moved to the next available public meeting. Currently all items must be presented to the council in-person at the any of the three Karuk Tribe council chambers in Yreka, Happy Camp, or Orleans.

How do I apply for a job with the Karuk Tribe?

Visit our Careers page to see current job openings. Each listing includes position details, qualifications, and application instructions. Applicants can apply directly online or submit a completed application to the Karuk Human Resources Department. Tribal members and descendants are encouraged to apply, and hiring preferences apply as outlined in our Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
