The Karuk Tribe’s Education Department is proud to announce the recognition of Karuk Tribal Graduates with a stole or iikiv (necklace) for the successful completion of their academic and programmatic requirements.

This initiative reflects the tribe's commitment to honoring the achievements of its members and recognizing their hard work and dedication to education and cultural preservation.

Karuk students graduating in 2026 will receive:

• 8th grade students will receive a 3-strand iikiv (necklace)
• High School, College and Trade School Graduates will receive a stole.

Karuk Graduation iikiv (necklace)/Stole Eligibility Requirements:

Must be enrolled as a Karuk Member or Descendent graduating from:

• 8th grade
• 12th grade
• College or Trade School
