Cultural Burning Notification

This winter & spring, cultural fire practitioners designated by the Karuk Tribe will be conducting cultural burns in the following areas: Orleans, Somes Bar, Happy Camp, Forks of Salmon

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• Timing: Burns will take place now to early April, dependent on cultural indicators and environmental factors.

• Locations: Burns will be performed on Tribal and Private properties.

• Identification: Cultural Burn signs will be posted at burn locations.
