Batterers' Intervention Program

The Batterers’ Intervention Program is designed to break cycles of violence by holding individuals accountable for their actions while providing tools for positive change. Rooted in both evidence-based practices and Karuk cultural values, the program focuses on responsibility, respect, and healthy relationships to promote safer families and stronger communities.

About the Program

It is a fee-based program that emphasizes domestic harmony. Participants will explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, regarding their interactions with others over 52 sessions. These sessions meet for two hours each week.
