27th 2026 Karuk Tribal Reunion Acorn Soup Demonstration

Demonstrate the traditional process for cooking acorn soup, including fire preparation, the use of cooking rocks, and soup preparation in a traditional acorn soup basket. Respondents should also be prepared to answer questions from observers during the demonstration.
