The Karuk Tribe Human Services Department invites community members to attend the Opioid Awareness Summit on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rain Rock Casino Event Hall in Yreka, California.

The summit will feature special guests Ryan Smith and Kaitlyn Orton from the California State Opioid Response Strategy Team, along with presentations from Karuk Tribe Human Services, Siskiyou County Behavioral Health, AEGIS Treatment Centers, and other regional partners.

A continental breakfast will be served, and the event is free and open to the public. Join us for an informative morning focused on education, resources, and collaborative efforts to support healing and strengthen our communities.
