Siskiyou County Evacuation Project - Virtual Public Workshop
🚨 Evacuation Planning – Public Comment Workshop 🚨
Join us for a Virtual Town Hall focused on evacuation planning in Siskiyou County. This is your opportunity to learn, ask questions, and share your input to help make our communities more resilient.
Karuk Tribe Public Works Director Jack Lantz, Karuk Tribe Transportation Director Misty Rickwalt, and Emergency Services Director Darrell Frost serve on the Siskiyou County Evacuation Preparedness Steering Committee.
Your participation matters. We especially encourage input from residents in Happy Camp, Somes Bar, and other outlying communities in Siskiyou County so that your opinions, experiences, and knowledge are captured in the planning process.
📍 Topics include:
✔️ Areas in Siskiyou County that may be more vulnerable
✔️ Roads and bridges at greater risk
✔️ Transportation needs during emergencies
