Wildfire Warning in Effect

Outdoor burning is strictly prohibited in the Happy Camp, California area. Recent hot, dry conditions combined with gusty winds have created a highly volatile environment—any spark, no matter how small, could ignite a fast-moving wildfire. Please refrain from using grills, campfires, or any open flame, even in contained areas.

Stay alert and monitor local emergency channels for updates. Evacuation orders may be issued with little notice; have a “go-bag” packed with essentials (medications, important documents, and basic supplies) and identify multiple exit routes from your home and neighborhood.
