KARUK COVID-19 AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN EMERGENCY CASH ASSISTANCE GENERAL WELFARE PROGRAM

 

The Karuk Tribal Council voted to distribute financial assistance to eligible Enrolled Karuk Tribal Members. This will be a one-time disbursement of $3,500 to eligible adults, and $1,000 to eligible individuals under 18 years old. To be considered eligible you must have experienced a negative economic impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and be either:

  • Karuk Enrolled Tribal Member who has attained the age of 18 years or older as of May 20, 2021 and who were also enrolled with the Tribe as of May 20, 2021; or
  • Karuk Enrolled Tribal Member who is younger than 18 years of age as of May 20, 2021, and who were also enrolled with the Tribe as of May 20, 2021

This program was made possible through the American Rescue Plan Act.

To apply for financial assistance, please complete the one of the applications below and submit to our offices by July 31, 2022.
