Karuk DNR Wildlife Division

Mission Statement

The mission of the KDNR Wildlife Division is to enhance, protect, conserve, and restore the ecological processes that the wildlife depend on in Karuk Aboriginal Lands, to promote the physical, cultural and spiritual well-being of the Karuk community, to promote a traditional healthy relationship of respect and reciprocity with our Karuk wildlife family, and to leave this legacy for the future wildlife and Karuk community for generations to come.

Please see this story map (kúkuum yáv nukyâati peethívthaaneen, "We Make the World Good Again") of the Karuk Tribal Department of Natural Resources work and how the Wildlife Program contributes to these goals!"
