The following link will take you to live cameras displaying the Hazard Mitigation work that is underway throughout the Happy Camp KTHA Community. This project is funded with Cal OES funds to retrofit all units with fire rated siding and new paint, enclose all soffits, replace all wood fencing with powder coated chain link with privacy slats, and significant fuels reduction to reduce the risk of fire throughout the community.

2025 AMERIND Coloring Contest
The Karuk Tribe Housing Authority is pleased to promote the AMERIND Risk Safety Poster Contest. Entries must promote safety ex: fire, distracted driving, home fire escape plan, how to call 911, etc. The contest is open to students in grades K-8 during the current/upcoming school year. KTHA will select one 1st place entry from each category (K-3, 4-6, and 7-8) and submit to AMERIND for regional judging in March. Each AMERIND Region will choose and submit one 1st place entry from each grade category for National online judging in July. The 1st place National Winner from each category will receive a $1,000 CASH PRIZE and be announced in August!
ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE TO FELICIA WOLFENDEN BY Thursday, May 15, 2025 AT 5PM
All entries must be submitted on the back side of the Entry Form with all information completed, and RECEIVED by the deadline.
Submit in person at the Happy Camp or Yreka KTHA Offices or Mail to PO Box 1159, Happy Camp, CA 96039. Faxes or Emails are not allowed. You are responsible for verifying your entry was received on time.
