The Karuk Tribe offers a comprehensive benefit package to full time, regular employees which includes:
Medical Insurance: through Anthem Blue Cross of California. Two PPO Plans offered. Dependent coverage available. Deductions can be taken pre-tax.
Dental/Vision/Life Insurance: through Guardian. Dependent/additional individual coverage available. Deductions can be taken pre-tax.
401(k) Retirement: 5% contribution from the Tribe with NO MATCH requirements. Employees are allowed to contribute pre-tax up to the IRS Maximum.
Paid Vacation/Sick Leave: Vacation accrues as follows: Years 1-3 (2 weeks per year), Years 4-5 (3 weeks per year), and Years 6 and above (4 weeks per year). Sick leave accrued at the rate of one day per month.
Paid Holidays: Twelve paid holidays each year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Katimiin Karuk Supaah (Friday before Memorial Day), Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Native American Day (fourth Friday in September), Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, Christmas Day, and one Personal Holiday to be used on/near your Birthday.
